Placethepaperguidein position,locatingthelugson thebottomofthe
assemblyintothe slotson the rear coverof the printer.
Checkthatprinterpoweris off andthe releaselever at the backof the
printeris down.
Openthetopcover,thenmovethebailleverontopofthepnnterforward
to openthe paperbail.
Adjustthepaperguidestomatchthesizeof paperyouwillbe using(re-
memberingthatprintingwillstartsomedistancefromtheleft-handedge
of the carriage).
Placea singlesheetbetweenthe guides,placingthe sideon whichyou
wanttoprinttowardsthebackoftheprinter.Gentlypushthepaperdown
in theguidesuntilyoufeelit stop.
Turn-theplatenknobclockwiseuntilthefrontedgeof thepapercomes
out fromunderthetop cover.
If the paper is not straight,move the releaselever to the up position,
straightenthe paperby hand,thenmovethe releaseleverback down.
Movethe bailleverbackto closethepaperbail.
