power-updefaultsettingsbyusingtheElectronicDIPSwitch(EDS)mode.

HOW TO SET THE EDS MODE
TheEDSmodehas16kindsoffunctionsyoucansetasthepower-ondefault.
ToentertheEDSmode,turntheprinteronwhilesimultaneouslyholdingthe

In EDS mode,the indicatorsandthebuttonson thecontrolpanelareused
as shownbelowin Figure3-1.

● Usethe(!)button to selecttheSwitchNumber.Oneofthe PITCHin-
dicatorswillilluminateto showthe selectedSwitchNumber.
● The QUIETindicatorshowsthe currentsetting.
