2.2.2 Auto Connection Function (only for iOS

When the Bluetooth connection with your iOS device
(*2
is disconnected, it is required to establish a
connection by tapping the printer you want to use on the Bluetooth setting screen. This Re-Connec-
tion Specication is exactly based on the iOS specications, and this specication is dierent from
other OS such as Android.
The auto connection eliminates this conguration process and automatically sends a request for con-
nection to the iOS terminal (Host) that the printer previously connected.

How to re-connect
Turn the printer on and tap the
printer name on the Bluetooth
setting screen of the iOS device.
After powered on, the printer
automatically connects to the
Host that it previously connected.
How to change
the Host
Turn the printer on and tap the
printer name on the Bluetooth
setting screen of the iOS device
you want to use.
Turn the "Bluetooth" function off
on the Bluetooth setting screen
of the host that the printer is
currently connected, and then tap
the printer name on the Bluetooth
setting screen of the iOS device
you want to use.
Use case
A printer is shared with the multi-
ple host devices.
A printer is always used with one
host device only.

[Bluetooth(iAP)]. When the Communication mode is not set to iOS mode, it is disabled and de-
