Paperparking
Afterloadingfanfoldpaper,youdo nothaveto unloaditwhenyouwantto
printon a singlesheet.Theprinterwill “park”it for you if youfollowthe
procedurebelow.
1. To beginpaperparking,startwithpowerON, fanfoldpaperloadedin
printingposition,andthereleaseleverup.
2. PresstheON
LINEbuttonon thecontrolpanelto settheprinteroff-line.
ON
LINEindicatorwillturnoff.
3. Tearoff the printedform at the last perforation,leavingnot morethan
abouthalf a pageshowingabovethe top cover.If necessary,press the
PAPER FEED buttonto feedpaperforwarduntila perforationis located
just abovethe topcover,andtearthere.
4. Pressthe
FONT buttonandhold it down.
5. Whileholdingthe FONTbuttondown,pressthe
PAPER FEED buttonon
thecontrolpanel.
Theprinterwillautomaticallyfeedthefanfoldformbackwarduntilthe
paperis completelyfreeof theplaten.
6. Movethe releaseleverto thedownposition.
7. Mountthe paperguidein theuprightposition.
Now you can load singlesheetseitherautomaticallyor manually,as ex-
plainedpreviously.The fanfoldpaper remainsparked at the back of the
printer.
Paperunparking
Whenyouwantto resumeusingfanfoldpaper,theprocedureis as follows.
1. Removeall singlesheetsfromtheprinter.
2. Mountthe paperguidein thehorizontalposition.
3. Movethe releaseleverto the up position.
4. WithPowerON,movethebailleverforward.Thepnnterwill automati-
callyfeedtheparkedfanfoldpaperbackintopositionfor printing.
5. Movethe bailleverbackto closethe bail.Now youare readyto print.
