Thisbuttonselectsthe font to be printed.Draft font is alwaysselectedat
power-up.To changeto oneof the NLQ(nearletterquality)fonts,set the
printeroff-line,then pressthe
FONTbuttonrepeatedlyuntiltheindicators
besidethe desiredselectionilluminate.The selectionscyclein the follow-
ingorder:

TheOratorfontisuniqueintwoways.First,itislarger(higher)thantheother
fonts,whichmakesit a goodchoiceforlabelsandothertextrequiringhigh
visibility.You will need a little extra line spacingwhen Orator is used.
Second,therearetwo versionsoftheOratorfont:oneprintssmallcapitals
inplaceoflower-caseletters;theotherprintslower-caseletters,butwithout
descenders.Theotherfontsdonothavea small-capitalsoption.Lowercase
willalwaysprintas lowercase.
TheversionyougetwhenyouselectOratorfromthecontrolpaneldepends
ontheDIPswitches.If DIPswitch1-6is OFF,lower-caseOratorwillprint
aslowercase.Otherwiseit willprintas smallcapitals.
The font can also be selectedby printer commandsgiven in Chapter4.
